Roly Witherow is a singer-songwriter, composer and arranger whose music spans folk songs, original compositions and film scores.

 

His first album, Ballads and Yarns was described by Folk Radio UK as "21st century Folk Music in all its glory". The album combines traditional songs, particularly sea shanties, with originals and instrumentals, bordering at times on experimental, spoken word and art-rock.

Roly's latest EP "Down by the River", set to be released on Earnest Records this winter, is a collection of traditional and original songs arranged for voice and guitar, featuring a collaboration with renowned folk singer Nick Hart.
